Avid crack?

Hey guys. A mate of mine at uni told me he can hold of full working Avid Xpress for windows. I've been trying for ages to get hold of a copy but it wasnt to be. DO you have any idea of whether people have actually found a way to crqck the dongle security or whether my mate is being led on by someone?

By the way, if the prog is bona fide, i'd be happy to distribute copies to you fella in Kazaa (giving it a strange name some every other melon dont kill my bandwidth).

you probably can get a cracked version... but it will still probably cost you... just hundreds isntead of thousands

I know I really shouldn't say this but... Just about any piece of software (and serial numbers & cracks) can be found on KaZaA.

So what is the crack Phantom? Is it a piece of cracking software?

The crack is a patchprogram that cracks the exe file. It replaces the normal exe file with dongle security for the cracked version without security. Or something like that.

i guess im mixed up, but i thought Avid had some hardware thing that stopped you using it illegaly? What am i thinking of [img]confused.gif[/img]
